Q :: Does the system automatically delete the emails that have bounced or when the receiver requests to unsubscribe?
A :: The answer is "no" -- no data is deleted. Why not? Because bounces occur for any number of reasons (including temporary internet outages at the recipient's end -- or even things like the recipient's server being temporarily offline) -- so clearly, you don't want to automatically delete a bounced address.
Instead, the sender (that is, whoever is the "from" address in the eFlyer) should keep all bounce notifications, and after the eFlyer admin status buttons indicate the group mailing cycle has completed (i.e., the "send", "edit" and other buttons are no longer grayed out) -- then the sender can go in and decide which, if any, bounced Contacts to "opt out" or delete.
Q :: Why "opt them out" instead of delete?
A :: You wouldn't want to delete the Contact Record if you had other important info in there -- for example, a membership profile, snail mail address, phone numbers, etc.
