Eflyer allows you to effortlessly create professional-looking, interactive newsletters, announcements and other graphically-rich email messages…

…and, as you can see from these examples, there is nothing 'cookie cutter' about eFlyer -- your eFlyer templates can be completely customized to reflect your branding and website styling.

When you select eFlyer from the Acuweb navigation bar, you're presented with a list of all your existing eFlyers; or, you can create a new one. By clicking the button at the top of the list.
For each eFlyer, you have six options, beginning with the 'edit' function . . .
Templates

Each eFlyer is built on one or more pre-formatted templates, which the Acuweb engineering team has pre-built for you. A simple click of a button allows you to choose which template you wish to use for each new eFlyer. You can also preview any of these templates by using the 'preview' button.

A standard feature of all eFlyer is the ability for your recipients to forward the eFlyer to a friend or associate. Here, you can choose which form on your site you'd like the "friend" to use if they are interested in signing up to receive future eFlyers from your organization -- a great way to help you grow your mailing list!

Recipients

The "to" panel allows you to select which groups or individuals you wish to mail. One group, multiple groups and/or individual addresses can be emailed. As with regular email, you can also specify cc and bcc recipients.

Set-up is easy . . . Very similar to sending a regular email. Add your sending email address as well as your display name to insure you email isn't seen as spam.

You can specify both a working title (how the message will appear on your list of saved messages) and a subject line (which will appear in the in-box of each of your recipients).

Updater Items

Now, you're ready to begin adding content to your eFlyer One of the great features of eFlyer is that it gives you the option of using content already on your website, unless you prefer to build your eFlyer from scratch.
Adding content from your website makes sense, because the chances are good that if it was important enough to have recently added the content to your site, it's probably great content to include in your next eFlyer.
You can choose to add text-based content; files from your updater file library; or even shared objects & lists.
For this example, we'll add a file from updater's file library -- but the process is basically the same if you're adding a story already in updater's content list.

Clicking on the 'file library ' button immediately takes you to your website's file library, where you can browse, or search for any item. When you find the item you want, simply click the 'add to eFlyer' button …

… and that item is added to your eFlyer content line-up. As you can see, it's easy

to drag-and-drop the chosen items into whatever order you prefer…

Convert to html

…once when you're satisfied with your changes, you have the option to conver your updater content items into editable text, using the "convert to html" option ...

When you do this, your selected updater content becomes fully editable, so you can fine-tune your eFlyer message without having to use your updater content items verbatim. Best of all, any changes you make to this content does not affect the original version in updater, so your website and eFlyer versions of each piece of content can be different, if you choose.

Sending

When you're finished editing your flyer, and have saved your changes, the send button on the eFlyer list-view …

… allows you to double-check your intended maling groups, and to see a mock-up of your finished flyer.
It's also worth noting that all eFlyers can also be viewed as a web page; which is useful for recipients on smartphones who may find it easier to view your flyer through a web-browser than as an email message.

Stats

Once you've sent your eFlyer, the 'stats' button on the eFlyer list-view allows you to monitor, in real time, the performance of your flyer…

… including how many recipients opened it; how many forwarded it to a friend; how many opted out from future mailings; how many viewed the eFlyer as a web-page; and perhaps most important, how many clicks each individual link in the text of the eFlyer received.
Tip: Please remember you can copy and modify existing eFlyers to use for a new flyer but never reuse one eflyer for another purpose.
