Troubleshooting
ProblemCopy and paste buttons on the content editor in Updater do not work in Internet Explorer. SolutionInternet Explorer (version 7+) has a feature called "Compatibility View". By default, this is turned off. Turning it on will solve a lot of issues, including the copy and paste functions in the content editor in Updater. Turning on Compatibility View Mode in Internet Explorer will solve this issue.
ProblemCopy and paste buttons on the content editor in Updater do not work in Firefox. SolutionFirefox (version 4+) now has a security feature in place where all Copy/Paste functions in WYSIWYG are disabled. This affects the content editor in Updater. This issue can be fixed by installing AllowClipboard Helper 1.0.1 Plug-In for Firefox.
ProblemIf you see..."Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" SolutionIf you receive this error message while browsing in Internet Explorer, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage", and you have another computer available to you, try viewing the page IE says it cannot display on the other machine. If you can see the page on the other machine, the problem may be with a browser or virus protection setting on your computer. If you cannot see the page on either machine, check to see if you can view a different web page by entering one of these two websites in the address bar: http://www.msn.com or http://www.microsoft.com If you can pull up either of these websites, but still cannot view the page that gave you the original "cannot display..." message, you should refer to the information available at Microsoft Support for several helpful methods to troubleshoot the problem. |
